Musical stays at the Domaine de Lalande.  Situated near Realmont in the Tarn, Odile & Gaston Frisch welcome musicians from everywhere.

At Lalande we have been lucky to keep the family piano which has been played by so many generations.
The parlor grand piano dates from the beginning of the 20th century.  A beautiful instrument and one of the first grand pianos, Erard, with parallel strings.

Recently revised by a piano maker from Toulouse, the piano has now returned to its place in our salon.
Two of our children are musicians, one plays the harpsichord and the other is a violinist so....
We had the idea to make this very beautiful instrument relive by welcoming musiciens to come and play here. Alone or in groups with their director or choir master, amateurs or professionals alike, musical friends who wish to pass some time in this calm and relaxing place to find themselves through music.  Our ‘maison d’hôtes’ is an ideal setting to organise courses, musical sessions, workshops or master classes.
Piano and salon are offered to be used freely.

That apart, the Tarn is a very beautiful region - Albi, Cordes, Lautrec, Sorèze, are towns full of history not to be missed.
There are many agreeable walkways for promenades, hiking or mountain biking or just for cycling along the quiet trees lined back roads.
The culinary delights of the Tarn as well as those of the South West of France are to be discovered.
